Della and Adrian, our nursery owners would like to pass on their appreciation to all the staff, children and parents at Bramhope. They are very proud and delighted to have been given the Ofsted grading of ‘Outstanding‘ at our recent inspection and know the hard work and commitment this has taken to achieve. We have just begun a 6 month journey to extend out existing skills, knowledge and confidence to enable us to raise Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) achievement levels further across all our nurseries.

We have 6 Champions across the nurseries who are leading 42 members of staff with this exciting programme where we recognise the challenges we sometimes face with supporting Special Educational Needs and Disabilities holistically. The programme aims to support practitioners with continuous improvements for children with SEND.

We have a notice board in each setting for you to look at all the work and progress along with supporting information for parents.

Once again the team at Baildon have been given a Food Hygiene rating of 5 (very good) by the  Food Standards Agency which is the second time we have got this rating

Baildon setting has just received its first Ofsted visit and we are very proud with the outcome and our fabulous report

Our setting in Burley in Wharefdale has been approached by the Burley in Wharfedale Playground Project

A mum of three and a Parish Councillor in the village , Rachel has been going to the children’s play area in the village for the last 35 years and in that time, little has changed.  The equipment is tired and dated and it’s no longer a magnet to the families that live in the village, and it’s not a good example of a village play area, which should be bustling particularly in good weather.

The playground project aim is to raise awareness of the current condition and to fund-raise in an effort to replace the old with a bright new space

Lucy our Burley Manager jumped at the chance to become involved and is organising a sponsored walk to help raise funds

The walk will be held on Saturday 9th April starting from our nursery at 10am

We will be inviting all our families to take part and more information and sponsor forms can be found  in the office at Burley

Before Christmas Cliffe House teamed up with the Dandy Art House project which all our  children took part in to design  their very own Christmas card

Each child drew or painted  a Christmas theme which was then made into a Christmas  card

A sample card was made and sent home to their families who then had the opportunity to buy direct from The Dandy Art House

As a thank you for purchasing the cards Dandy Art House gave us percentage of the profits which we in turn donated to our chosen charities
